After the Alton Sterling/Baton Rouge tragedy, I spent 30 days on location. I captured the unfolding events and community emotions. This period tested my dedication. I felt a profound need to document these historic moments. It was for the present and future generations.
During the Baton Rouge floods, I waded through thigh-high waters to capture the devastation. The resilience of the residents was inspiring. It wasn’t an assignment or request that prompted me. It was my conviction that these moments needed recording. My goal was to provide a visual narrative of struggle and strength.
