Virtual Black Guy is a multimedia artist, songwriter, photographer, and world-builder from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Blending soul, R&B, spoken word, gospel, Afrofuturism, and digital storytelling, his work explores identity, love, loneliness, spirituality, memory, and the search for meaning in a rapidly changing world.

As an award-winning photographer, his images have documented moments of joy, struggle, resilience, and transformation. As a songwriter, he transforms personal reflections, poetry, and life experiences into immersive musical journeys that invite listeners to look deeper within themselves.

Through music, virtual worlds, photography, and emerging technologies, Virtual Black Guy creates experiences that exist somewhere between reality and imagination. His stories are rooted in the Black American experience while reaching toward universal questions about humanity, connection, faith, and purpose.

His debut project, “A Case for Light,” imagines a traveler returning home with hard-earned wisdom gathered from life’s challenges, losses, victories, and mysteries. Each song serves as a chapter in a larger conversation about what it means to remain hopeful, curious, and human.

From the streets of Baton Rouge to digital worlds without boundaries, Virtual Black Guy continues to create art that honors the past, questions the present, and imagines new possibilities for the future.

Welcome to the journey.
